This is the original "Arlington" video that we made that was played at Jason's funeral on October 13, 2007. This is from Trace Adkins' record "Songs About Me."
A couple of days before Thanksgiving 2007, University of Alabama head football coach made some rather idiotic comments about his team losing to Louisiana-Monroe and Mississippi State, comparing the losses to folks losing loved ones in 9/11 and Pearl Harbor. A friend of Thirty-Eight Twelve, Bruce Hooley, had commented on this remarks on his afternoon show in Columbus, Ohio, and I emailed him detailing my disgust. Bruce read the email on air. This is WDTV channel 5 of Clarksburg, WV, covering the First Annual Jason N. Marchand Memorial Walk for Freedom on April 5, 2008. (And yes, Brad Bowden, the reporter featured here, informed me that he is a relative of Bobby and Terry Bowden.)
WBOY (Morgantown, WV) coverage of the same event.
On June 20, 2009, praise-rock band Cadence will appear at the 2nd Annual Jason N. Marchand Memorial Walk for Freedom. We are excited to welcome Wes, Jess, Brandon, and Seth to West Union for their high-energy rock set.
