Our Purpose

Thirty-Eight Twelve exists solely for the mission of keeping the memory of one of America's fallen heroes, Jason Marchand, alive. We are the fund-raising arm of the Jason N. Marchand Memorial Scholarship, and we work very hard to keep Jason's name in front of the public.

Debbie Parsons is the person who is most responsible for our work here. As explained on the page dedicated to the scholarship itself, it was her idea to find a way to permanently memorialize her son. I (Eric Parsons) have started the work on the foundation itself, and I am currently working to meet the requirements for a 501(c)(3) certification with the IRS.

Thirty-Eight Twelve solicits in-kind donations, monetary donations, and works toward publicity of our fundraisers, such as our annual memorial walk-a-thon, the Jason N. Marchand Memorial Walk for Freedom.

Our current membership is:

Debbie Parsons

Rich Parsons

Wayne Davis

Misty Davis

Richard Adams

Jackie Adams

Eric Parsons

Aunalie Parsons

If anybody has any questions, please feel free to send me an email at ewp11577@gmail.com and I will respond promptly, normally within a few hours.

Anybody interested in donating time, money, or raffle items can email also, and either myself or Debbie will contact you promptly.

To limit the people who have worked hard for this cause to simply those listed above would not be telling the whole truth; rather, many (and I do mean many) of the good people of Doddridge County, West Virginia, have spent quite a bit of time on this project.

We owe all of you our deepest gratitude.
