The Thirty-Eight Twelve Memorial Foundation Updates
Well, it's been a while since I've updated the page, but we now have some news! The 2nd Annual Jason N. Marchand Memorial Walk for Freedom has been scheduled for June 20, 2009, at Cline Stansberry Stadium in West Union, West Virginia. This year's walk will be only 12 hours, and in much nicer weather than last year.
Some of the folks who donated items for raffle last year have already signed on to make similar donations this year, and we are working on having some live entertainment at the stadium this year as well.
In addition, through the help of some friends of the foundation, next year's event is already being planned with a twist--the possibility of a live wrestling show being hosted by a well-known West Virginia native. Until we have some contracts signed, I'll refrain from naming those who may be involved.
